WAB Windenergie-Agentur Bremerhaven/Bremen e. V. is the competence network for wind energy in the Weser River region. The association was founded in 2002. By now 300 companies and institutions from all areas of the wind energy industry have become members of the WAB.

The objective of WAB is the promotion of wind energy by:

• networking its members and promoting a manifold information exchange
• initiating of projects or research activities
• supporting its members at the export markets of wind energy, with repowering and the development of offshore wind energy
• offering seminars, study trips, market analyses and trade fair representation
• lobby and PR work
